Hi, I’m Tara — a wedding photographer based in Navan, Co. Meath, capturing natural, heartfelt weddings across Ireland.
I believe the best moments are the ones you don’t script: the quiet breath before you walk down the aisle, the way your partner squeezes your hand, or the laugh you didn’t realise you needed.
Your wedding is defined by these fleeting, honest moments, and capturing them is exactly why I do what I do.
Before I became a photographer, I spent many years as cabin crew. With over 10,000 hours in the air, it turned out to be the perfect training for weddings: stay calm, stay kind, and always know where the nearest exit is. That sense of calm and care is exactly what I bring to every wedding I photograph.
After hanging up my wings, I went back to college to study photography properly. I started out in product photography — the kind of work where you adjust something by a millimetre until it finally makes sense. It taught me precision, patience, and how to work with light. But I missed people. I missed real emotion and real stories. That’s what pulled me toward weddings, and I’ve never looked back.
You’ll spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than with any other supplier — so it’s only fair that you know a little bit about the person who’s behind the camera.
I’m married to Julita, my favourite person and the steady voice of reason whenever I’m tempted to buy “just one more lens.” We live with our two cats, Holly & Ben — the real bosses. They contribute absolutely nothing to the business except judgmental stares and fur on every black outfit I own.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me on a Pickleball court, bringing the same energy I bring to weddings: focused, upbeat, and occasionally running backwards while trying not to fall.
At the heart of my work is a simple intention: I want you to feel fully present — relaxed, supported, and free to enjoy every second while I quietly take care of the rest. Weddings are about people, not perfection, and I’m here to notice the little things, keep things calm, and capture moments that feel honest and alive.
